AUO has been awarded the Gold Award for Sustainable Organizations of the Year at the Industry Eagles Awards. This remarkable achievement makes AUO the first Taiwanese company to ever receive this honor.

Energy Conservation

AUO has implemented the "3030 Power Saving Project" with the ambitious goal of reducing electricity usage for production by 30% by 2030. The Taichung site has achieved an electricity saving rate of 2.41% in 2023.

Waste Reduction

AUO has set a goal of plastic neutrality by 2030. As a pilot project, the Taichung site successfully reduced the use of plastic foot mat by 28.1% in 2023. Additionally, through mechanical transformation and material optimization, waste release agent molds have been reduced by approximately 13.48%.

Sustainability Culture

AUO cultivates the sustainability literacy of its employees through various approaches. Since 2019, over 5,000 energy-saving and water-saving proposals have been independently submitted by colleagues through proposal competitions, promoting the exchange and implementation of innovative ideas within the company.
